Crafts

Oh boy. I'm not incredibly crafty, but when I saw this on Leslee's blog, I really wanted to try it. I saw something cute and crafty that I'm going to try to make for each person who's brave enough to get involved.

Making handcrafted items is a dying art, but they are so fun to make and get! So here's a little game to encourage the handcrafting to live and thrive! The first {5} people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year, a super-duper handmade gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well- before you leave your comment here, write up (or copy & paste as I did!) a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Then come back, let me know you're going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift! Remember that only the first FIVE comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick!
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations: 1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! 2. It will be done this year (hopefully sooner than later.) 3. You will have no clue what it is going to be.

splish splash

Yes, this is a typical bath for Cassie. And yes, my right side is usually soaked by the end.

P.S. We've had some good laughs with the caption contest (see previous post). We're choosing a winner on Friday (March 13).

Create Your Own Caption

This is definitely not Emily's favorite picture of Cassie. I had to work pretty hard to convince her that I could make a decent blog post out of it. Here's the plan:
  • Leave a comment in which you submit a caption for the above picture.
  • Whoever submits the caption we think is the best wins...something...maybe we'll give you some advertising space on our blog.
  • We promise that no caption will hurt our feelings unless it includes profanity.
For anyone who is concerned for the welfare of our child, please know that this photo does not represent our typically charming daughter. The camera caught her at just the wrong moment.
